Our Toasting Fork Making experience is a fun, hands-on blacksmithing workshop where you’ll forge your own toasting fork from a single piece of steel. Guided by an experienced blacksmith, you’ll learn the fundamentals of heating, hammering, twisting, and shaping hot metal before creating a practical tool that’s perfect for roasting marshmallows, crumpets, sausages, and other campfire treats. No previous experience is required, making it ideal for complete beginners, families, and anyone looking to try something new.

Please wear long trousers and sturdy, closed-toe footwear suitable for a workshop environment. Comfortable clothing is recommended, and long hair should be tied back where appropriate. We’ll provide everything else, including all tools, materials, and PPE. Simply arrive a few minutes before your session for check-in and your safety briefing

The experience lasts approximately three hours and includes expert tuition, all materials, professional workshop tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE). The workshop costs £78 per person, with each participant making one handcrafted toasting fork. Session times may vary slightly depending on individual progress. You’ll take home the toasting fork you create during the workshop. Gift vouchers are available, valid for 18 months, and can be redeemed 7 days a week on sessions running 9:00am–12:00pm or 4:00pm–7:00pm.
