Possessed of a natural aptitude for this type of work, Aaron has dedicated his adult life to the art of the traditional blacksmith, continually pushing and establishing new boundaries in metalwork.

However, as well as creating the more contemporary pieces he also has a deep interest in the conservation of heritage ironmongery and his knowledge and experience in this field has enabled him to work alongside some of the country’s leading architects, designers, specialist contractors and conservation experts on projects for organisations such as National Trust, English Heritage and Cadw. These have involved many historic, ecclesiastic and other similarly prestigious properties

Nicky is the business organiser and developer, as well as being a mum to five young children. She has responsibility for sales, purchasing, bookings, marketing and setting the weekly staff work schedules as well as dealing with the multitude of other vital day-to-day duties essential to the running of a successful company.

She has a real flair for interior design and takes a leading role in creating and developing new product ranges. Nicky was also the driving force behind the setting up of Oldfield Forge Experience Day’s which, along with the Forge itself, has gone from strength to strength under her guidance and supervision.
